 The Lords Prayer
TLPTLPTLPTLPTLPTLPTLPTLPTLP

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come.  Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.   Amen.

Lord, Make Us One - Series I - 02/07/1999
We will begin with St. John, Chapter 17:21.  Jesus prays unto the Father that he might make the church one even as he and the Father are one. (1)

According to scripture, we are living in the last days.  An hour when the enemy of your soul will seek to tear down your testimony.  Confusion, distortion, discouragement and manipulation are his [the enemy] weapons and he's had a long time to perfect them.  If it were possible, the very elect would be deceived.

Our salvation is being tried as by fire but we must not give up. The Apostle Paul tells us in II Corinthians 2:14, "But thanks be unto God which causeth us to triumph (to give victory) in Christ.

It is imperative that we have a communion with our Heavenly Father in order to live an overcoming life in this present, evil world.

Jesus prayed to the Father for the church.  He in turn said that whatsoever we ask the Father, in his name, he would hear and answer us.

Daily, if we ask, seek and knock on Heaven's doors,  we will receive what we need in the hour we need it.

(1)Please note that this is not the Lords Prayer which is found in the book of Luke, Chapter 11; but rather Jesus' prayer for the church concerning its oneness with him.

In Conclusion
In closing, I pray you will endure and fight the good fight of faith.  Don't give up.  We're almost home.  Your miracle will come but it will come when you least expect it.

In Service of Him,
Rev. Golden
